We are pleased to announce that we will be running the 4th annual Kingston Celtfest on May 24, 2008 at Lake Ontario Park. Please join us this year in our continued efforts to improve and expand the contest. We are striving to run this event as a competitor-friendly contest.
Support your branch event and earn Eastern Ontario Champion Supreme points!
Prize money will be offered to the top two finishers in each Grade.
Time permitting, bands in Grade 2, 3 and 4 will be able to compete twice, showcasing all material required for summer events.
No admission will be charged.
The contest will commence at 8:30 a.m. and will finish no later than 6:00 p.m.
Bands will participate in a brief closing ceremony, which will include playing several tunes at the halt.

8:00 a.m. Registration
8:30 a.m. Solo Piping & Drumming Commences
12:30 p.m. Grade 5 Pipe Band Contest
1:30 p.m. Grade 4 Pipe Band March Medley Contest
2:30 p.m. Grade 4 Pipe Band Medley Contest
3:30 p.m. Grade 3 Pipe Band Set Contest
4:00 p.m. Grade 3 Pipe Band Medley Contest
4:30 p.m. Grade 2 Pipe Band Set Contest
5:00 p.m. Grade 2 Pipe Band Medley Contest
5:30 p.m. Closing Ceremony

Exit 401 at Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd.
Follow Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd. to King Street
Turn right onto King Street and follow for several blocks
Lake Ontario Park is on your left (just past St. Lawrence College)
